Yep, regular blocks and plates. I put a 2x2 hinge on the handle - with 2 center stud 1x2s on top - to make the trigger move. I made some instructions that I could put in Scraps (or I could e-mail it to you) if you want to have a look. But something happend and part of them got cut off - they're still quite usable, though.

Thanks! ^^ Well, I knew the basic dimensions (390 mm long), and I had some reference pics. I then basically just started playing around with some bricks to make the front of the barrel. It took me about 4 tries to get the size right, but then I had to figure out how I was going to do the slide (the slide bricks and the barrel bricks actually run perpendicular). Once I got the barrel size down, the only other tough part was doing the handle - and getting the slide to work (rubberbands are great ).
If you want to do a LEGO Jackal, then I can give you the URL for MLCAD (and the instructions for my model). Otherwise...I don't know much about Rhino, but if it's a CAD program, then I'd say simply start with a long, rectangular box or two, and work from there. (Y'know, you've just inspired me to download Milkshape again. )

Hehe, thanks - glad you like. I put the sticker on just before I took the pic, and I was really impressed about how much it added to the whole effect.

That's amazing! I still can't believe it's made form LEGOs! I especially like the "Jesus Christ is in Heaven now" on the barrel.
